Melissa's parents and sister (Lindsay) are visiting this week and are staying at a great hotel in Lakeville that has a little waterpark in it. We were able to get some really good pictures of the kids playing with "Nanna" and "Boppa."

Mom's Group Shower

Two of the women in my Mom's Group are having their second babies (both boys) in the next few weeks so we had a little shower for them last week. There are 9 of us total but here is a group shot of 7 of us ans one of the expecting Moms.

Happy Father's Day!

After a special breakfast in the morning we headed to Rochester to visit Scott's family and celebrate Father's Day! Evan enjoyed a tractor ride as always and had fun playing with his "Papa" and his Aunt "Ani" as he says...Ally wore an adorable dress that Grandma Sherry bought her and was spoiled by all as usual:)

Ally is 8 months

Ally is 8 months old as of the 13th of June!

Como Zoo

Our Mom's Group has been meeting on Monday mornings to take the kids somewhere fun and this week's outing was the Como Zoo in Saint Paul. It was fun as always although it was very hot so we didn't spend as much time as we would have liked....

Happy Birthday Scott/Daddy

Scott's Birthday was June 12th and he took the day off work so we could celebrate as a family! We went out to lunch and dinner, swam in our apartment's pool and just had a good time being together. The last two pictures are of our birthday dinner with Scott's Dad and Sherry after the Saint's Game. Happy Birthday Scott!

Saint Paul Saints Game

We went to a Saint Paul Saint's Game on Sunday with Grandma and Grandpa Shurson and had a wonderful time!! It was really hot but the game was exciting and we were really suprised how great both kids did despite the heat! We went our for a nice dinner after to celebrate Scott's birthday which was Tuesday and he got to open some presents!

Park/Beach

We found a beautiful park and beach last week that is really near our apartment . Evan loved the park slides and we even waded in the lake a little!

Baby Riley

Baby Riley Joseph was born to our friends Allison and Chris on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:35am and weighed in at 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. We are excited to get to meet him tonight!

Ally's a big girl!

Ally is now eating finger food! We've been trying a few different foods and she seems to love it! Evan, as you can see in the pictures loves to help Ally get as much into her mouth as possible:)

More Birthday fun!

We decided to celebrate Evan's real Birthday with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's tonight! We all had a blast-even Ally seemed a bit amused by all the action. Happy Birthday Evan!!

Birthday Boy!!

Evan is two years old today! We had two parties this weekend, Saturday was his group party with his friends from my Mom's Group (pictures coming soon) and Sunday was his party with Scott's side of the family. Scott and I gave him a big castle slide, an Elmo doll and a backpack. He got a huge train table from Grandma and Grandpa Shurson which he loves!! It takes up quite a bit of space in our living room but it's worth it when we see how much fun he has with it! Evan also got lots of other fun gifts including a little airplane from his "Oma" in Texas! Here are just a few pictures from yesterday.

I ran across these pictures we took Wednesday night and thought they cute! I love the one of Scott pretending the Lego is a phone. Bravo dear.:) Evan had a run-in with a wall last week and scraped up his nose so of course we have to have a picture of it! You'll notice they theme to most Evan pictures is TRAINS!!

Here are a few more recent pictrures. June is going to be a busy month but we are hoping to at least get Evan's Birthday pictures posted-hopefully sometime next week. His actual Birthday is Monday the 4th but we're having a party with Scott's side of the family on Sunday. Evan had his 2-year check-up today and what a big boy!! He's now 33 pounds 1 1/2 ounces and 38 inches tall!! The doctor said he looks great and will certainly be taller than Scott and I. Wow!! Ally is scheduled for her 9 month exam mid-July so we can't wait to see how she has grow too. She is almost crawling now! She gets up on her knees and rocks and can kind of move backwards....look out Evan!
