Minnesota State Fair 8/31/06

Scott was able to get off work a little early today so we decided this was a perfect day for the fair! It was perfect weather and although we wish we could have stayed longer, Mommy and Ally were getting pretty tired out from all that walking. Evan loved the baby animal barn and of course the food! He did not like cotton candy, however...the nerve:)

The Prince's new shoes/playing with Daddy 8/30/06

Evan's feet have grown AGAIN and we had to get new shoes (7 1/2 Wide!!) he seems to like them but the laces are kind of challenging for us....Evan has also figured out how to ride Daddy like a horse-very cute!

Adam and Kris's Wedding 8/26/06

Last weekend we went to Saint Cloud for the beautiful wedding of Scott's cousin and Adam and his new wife Kris. Evan enjoyed socializing with his cousins and playing with the other kids at the wedding. He even got to wear his Batman pajama outift (complete with cape) from Auntie Annie. We learned it is difficult to take a toddler to a wedding, however.

Grandparent's Anniversary Cruise 8/19/06

We went on a beautiful cruise up the Mississippi to celebrate Scott's Grandma and Grandpa Bob's Anniversary. We left Evan home with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson so we could have a little break. Everyone missed Evan but was nice to eat our food before it got cold for once:)

Evan is eatinng with a spoon all by himself now! He loves to 'dip' his spoon in whatever is in front of him and can actually get it into his mouth (very messy but very cute)

These are some of the only pictures we have ever been able to take of Evan actually sleeping in his crib. We went in his room to get him up from his nap and he didn't even hear the door opening so of course we ran for the camera!

Evan and I met up with two of his friends and their Mommy's for a day at the Dakota County Fair!

Scott's recent business trip to Washington and Oregon

Scott went to Tukwila, Washington and Portland, Oregon on business last week (we're glad he's back!!). He met up with Lindsay (sister-in-law) a few nights while he was in Portland and got quite the tour-thanks Lindsay!!

Happy Anniversary Great-Grandma and Grandpa!

We went to a suprise Anniversary party for Evan's Great-Grandma and Grandpa last weekend. Evan enjoyed (as always) being the center of attention.
