Zoo with Mom's Group
Last Monday Evan and Ally and I went to the Zoo with our Mom's Group. It was really hot so we didn't stay long but we got some great pictures of the kids in the farm area!
Shurson Family Reunion
We went to a Shurson Family Reunion a few weeks ago and I wish I had taken more pictures! We also had to leave for Evan's naptime before all of the group photos were done so we didn't get any of those either! It was a beautiful day and it was fun to meet some new people and to catch up with ones we already knew.

Ally's 9 month appointment
Today we had Ally's 9-month Doctor visit and she is doing great! She weighed in at 25lbs and 8ozs and is 29 3/4 inches tall! She did not have to have any shots this time but gets 4 or so at her 12 month coming up in October. Evan had a Hepatitis A shot today and did really great! He didn't even cry! We are lucky to have such healthy kids...
Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater
On Monday I took Evan and Ally to the Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater where we met Evan's friends Tyler and Ava and their mommies. It was a beautiful (but hot) day and the kids played for almost two hours! It's a really nice park right in downtown Stillwater!
Chutes and Ladders Park
We went to Chutes and Ladders in Bloomington on Sunday since Scott had not been there since he was in Middle School and it has certainly changed!! Evan's favorite part was the water misters but he quickly decided he wasn't too happy about being all wet!
More Lake Harriet
Here are a few more pictures from after the streetcar-we decided to get ice cream from the place in the Bandshell and Evan made short work of a 'Sponge Bob' ice cream treat.
Lake Harriet Streetcar
While we were in the Linden Hills area we decided to try the Harriet Streetcar. Evan and Ally loved it and we enjoyed learning a little of the history about the old streetcars.

Evan's Haircut!
We finally got around to giving Evan a summer haircut. He did really well sitting still for Daddy who did a great job by the way! Here are some before and after pictures...
Bookstore
On Sunday we went into South Minneapolis and went to a cool bookstore called Wild Rumpus where there are several animals allowed to roam free...Ally loved the cats who came up to sniff her stroller and Evan's favorites were the ferrets and frogs.
Hanging out with Grandpa Shurson
We went to see Grandpa Shurson on Saturday to visit and so Scott could practice riding a motorcycle (he has his permit now). It was super hot outside so we mostly stayed inside and made a mess of the living room. Once it cooled down a little we got to pick raspberries from Grandma Sherry's garden and they were delicious!
