Grandma and Grandpa Shurson's House

Scott is on a business trip for 12 days so the kids and I went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa Shurson from Sunday until yesterday. Now we are home until Daddy comes home next Wednesday!:( We miss you! Here are some cute pictures from our visit:

Thanksgiving!

We went to two Thanksgiving (with a nice long nap in between) this year. The first one was at Scott's Grandma and Grandpa's house in Bloomington and then we went to my cousin Kelli and her husband's house in Lakeville. Evan and Ally got to hang out with cousins they don't see very often like Sam and Vaughn (my cousin's boys) and Aiden, Scott's cousin's son. We had a great time and even got to see some snow!!!

Decorating for Christmas

We started decorating for Christmas quite awhile ago and have been working on it little by little. Evan likes to get out his tools and help!

Ally is 13 months old!!

Today, Ally is 13 months old and she has certainly grow up fast! She is walking really well now and is starting to climb up on things (like Evan's bed and his train table!) It's very interesting having two mobile children!

I took the kids to the Zoo last week and as always, the aquariums and the monkeys were the favorites!

Pumpkin carving

The night before Halloween we carved some pumpkins. Evan was a little afraid to touch the "yucky" stuff but Ally loved it and probably wound up eating some raw pumpkin too...ick.

Halloween Night!

Since it was rather cold and we don't know many of our neighbors we took the kids to our local mall to Trick-or-Treat. They ended up with quite a haul and Evan was really getting the hang of saying "Trick-or-Treat!!"
